Commerce Awards $4.1 Million in Tax Credits to Spur Revitalization Efforts

We are pleased to announce that USD 320 has been granted tax credits through the Kansas Community Service Tax Credit Program to support the development of a high-quality Early Learning Center. Through a partnership with the Wamego Community Foundation, USD 320 has secured funding via the Foundation’s two-year lease of a facility. 

These tax credits are part of a broader $4.1 million investment awarded by the Kansas Department of Commerce to 30 non-profit organizations statewide. The program encourages impactful community-focused projects ranging from early education to mental health services. 

USD 320 is committed to fostering opportunities and supporting families in our community. We look forward to launching this Early Learning Center and pursuing initiatives that strengthen the foundation of our district’s future.
