Free/Reduced Information
Families are STRONGLY encouraged to apply for Free or Reduced Meals. Start by reading the Information Letter to Housholds linked below. Then, complete the Application for Free and Reduced Benefits (online beginning July 1) and the Consent for Disclosure for Free/Reduced Instructional Materials Fees (link below).
You may also pick up an application at any school office or the District Office. Please read the instructions carefully before filling an application out to ensure that all fields are filled out correctly. This will help speed up the approval process.
Incomplete applications cannot be processed or approved. In most cases, applications are processed within a few days that they are received. You will receive a letter in the mail stating the results of your application. Meal benefits are determined by the guidelines set by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
You may apply for meal benefits at any time during the school year. You must reapply at the beginning of every school year. Free or reduced meal benefits do not take effect until the application has been processed and approved.

To file a program complaint of discrimination, complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, (AD-3027) found online at: This USDA Website and at any USDA office, or write a letter addressed to USDA and provide in the letter all of the information requested in the form.
