Nominate a USD 320 Teacher of the Year

USD 320 Families,
We have some pretty incredible teachers in our district, and we would like your help recognizing them!

Nominations are now open for the 2028 USD 320 Teacher of the Year.  Each year, USD 320 selects one elementary and one secondary teacher to represent our district in the Kansas Teacher of the Year program.

When thinking about who to nominate, consider a teacher who:

• Is an exceptional teacher who inspires students to learn.
• Is dedicated to students of all backgrounds and abilities.
• Has earned the respect of students, families, and colleagues.
• Makes a positive impact on their school and our community.

To be eligible, nominees must be full-time classroom teachers who plan to continue teaching during the 2027-2028 school year and have completed at least five years as a classroom teacher.

Nominations are due Friday, September 11.

To nominate a teacher, please email the teacher's building principal. They would love to hear not only who you are nominating, but a little about why you believe that teacher deserves to be recognized.

This is a great opportunity to recognize the teachers who make a difference for our students every day. Thank you for helping us celebrate the outstanding educators of USD 320!
