We are proud to announce the newest recipients of the ONE Wamego Recognition Award! This recognition celebrates students, staff, family members, and community members who go above and beyond to embody what it means to be ONE Wamego.

The strength of our district comes from individuals who demonstrate our core values each day:

  • Ownership – Taking pride and responsibility
  • Next – Showing resilience and a forward-focused mindset
  • Elevate – Raising the bar for themselves and others
  • Unity – Living out the spirit of ONE Wamego

Please join us in congratulating these honorees:

  • Beth Courtney - USD320 Food Service
  • Penny Graber - West Elementary Special Education Teacher
  • Amelia Hupe - Student at Wamego High School
  • Casie Hartwich - Parent/Community Member

These individuals have made a meaningful impact on our schools and community, and we are excited to celebrate their contributions.

They will be formally recognized at the USD 320 Board of Education Meeting on April 13th, where they will receive their award certificates, which will include the nominations submitted on their behalf.

We encourage you to continue recognizing those around you who make a difference. Nominations are open through the last day of each month by completing this Google Form. The next recipients will be selected and recognized at the May 11th Board of Education Meeting. *Please note, the current honorees were chosen from nominations received from November 2025 - February 2026.

Thank you for all you do to make Wamego a place where we truly live out ONE Wamego.
