Smart-Maher VFW National Citizenship Education Teacher Award Regional Winner

USD 320 is proud to celebrate Beth Aldridge, ELA Teacher at Wamego High School, for being named the Smart/Maher VFW National Citizenship Education Teacher Award Regional Winner and advancing into consideration for the state-level award. The award was presented by Mike Riley, District Commander for Kansas Veterans of Foreign Wars. This recognition is part of the VFW’s annual “Teacher of the Year” program, which honors educators who help students grow into informed, engaged citizens and who elevate learning about our nation’s history, traditions, and the service of veterans.

Beth, we’re grateful for the work you do every day for our students and our community. We’re proud you’re part of USD 320, and we’ll be cheering you on as you move forward!
