Wamego Middle School
Welcome Letter to Parents and Students
Wamego Middle School is the “newest” building in USD 320, celebrating its 26th birthday in spring of 2018! A sixth through eighth grade facility with 364 students and 55 staff members, WMS was long overdue for renovation. Beginning in 2016, new energy efficient windows and lighting were installed, as well as the first major refinishing of the gym floor which included a center court logo sponsored by the Wamego Basketball Association. Thanks to a successful bond election, significant renovations continued in summer of 2017: new flooring in the commons and halls, new lockers, bathroom upgrades, and new water fountains. In January 2018, ground work will begin on the science wing addition, due to open at the beginning of the 2018-2019 school year.
