Wamego Middle School

View the WMS Calendar

Wamego Middle School is the “newest” building in USD 320, celebrating its 30th birthday in the spring of 2022!  A sixth through eighth grade facility with 375 students and 55 staff members, WMS was long overdue for renovation.  Beginning in 2016, new energy efficient windows and lighting were installed, as well as the first major refinishing of the gym floor which included a center court logo sponsored by the Wamego Basketball Association.  Thanks to a successful bond election, significant renovations continued in summer of 2017: new flooring in the commons and halls, new lockers, bathroom upgrades, and new water fountains.  In January 2018, a state of the art science wing addition was finished and opened in the fall of the 2018-2019 school year.
