The ONE Wamego Recognition Award is a great way to celebrate the people who make Wamego Schools strong. This award honors individuals who go above and beyond to demonstrate:

• Ownership – Taking pride and responsibility in their role
• Next – Showing resilience and the “next play” mentality
• Elevate – Raising the bar for themselves and others
• Unity – Living out the spirit of ONE Wamego

Anyone connected to our schools—staff, students, families, or community members—can be nominated. Every nomination makes a difference by letting someone know their actions matter.

✨ Nominations are open until May 1st.
✨ A review committee will select honorees from your nominations for special recognition.
✨ Honorees will be recognized at the Board of Education meeting on May 11th and receive their nomination form as a thank you.

Reminder: You have until the end of they day May 1st (it's been extended since the 1st is on Friday) to submit your nominations.

If you’ve nominated someone in the past and they weren’t selected, please feel free to re-nominate them. The selection process is always difficult because we receive so many wonderful nominations.

Keep them coming! When you submit a nomination, please be sure to include specific details about why you are nominating that person, whether it’s for Ownership, Next, Elevate, Unity, or all of the above.
