The Camel Club.  The Camel Club is a four-man group of Washington, D.C. misfits, that meet weekly to discuss political conspiracies they believe exist and what actions they might take. One night club members witness the murder of Secret Service employee Patrick Johnson, thus thrusting the wacky crew into the middle of a bigger conspiracy than they could ever have imagined.

Sweetgrass basket.  In alternating passages, two Mohawk sisters describe their lives at the Carlisle Indian Industrial School, established in 1879 to educate Native Americans, as they try to assimilate into white culture and one of them is falsely accused of stealing.

Daniel, half-human : the Nazis come to power.  In 1933, best friends Daniel and Armin admire Hitler, but as anti-Semitism buoys Hitler to power, Daniel learns he is half Jewish, threatening the friendship even as life in their beloved Hamburg, Germany, is becoming nightmarish. Also details Daniel and Armin's reunion in 1945 in interspersed chapters.

Two little girls in blue.  A pair of twin girls are kidnapped, the ransom paid, but only Kelly is returned, with a note saying Kathy has been killed. When Kelly begins getting telepathic information from Kathy, only their mother believes she is still alive.

LoveSick.  After an accident seems to end his college and athletic dreams, Ted is offered a second chance at school if he agrees to spy on a classmate and help her father monitor her bulimia.

Half-Moon investigations.  Twleve-year-old private investigator Fletcher Moon, nicknamed "Half Moon" because of his shortness, must track down a conspiracy or be framed for a crime he did not committ.

Vt : Vermont.  Ski bums, boarding princesses, and hardcore racer-types all sharing a small condo with one big fireplace. On or off the slopes they're all in for a great ride.

Desert blood 10pm/9c.  When Gus Gonzalez was 12, he was adopted by television star Nick Hernandez, age 26 and single.  Now Gus is 14, Nick's cop character is wildly popular, and it seems that everyone in rural Palmdale, CA, and in the media feels free to cast aspersions on Nick and Gus's relationship.

Charmed thirds : a novel.  Jessica Darling continues to grow, groove, lust, and hook up. In this witty follow-up to Sloppy Firsts and Second Helpings, Jessie studies and romps through three years at New York's Columbia University. When not soaking up Ivy League ambience, this exuberant undergraduate is busy salvaging her long-distance relationship with her high school boyfriend Marcus Flutie, now a candidate for nirvana at an unaccredited Buddhist college in California.

Dough Boy.  Fifteen-year-old Tristan deals with intensified criticism about his weight when the nutrition-obsessed daughter of his mother's boyfriend, Frank, moves in.

Birdwing.  Prince Ardwin, known as Birdwing, the youngest of six brothers turned into swans by their stepmother, is unable to complete the transformation back into human form, so he undertakes a journey to discover whether his feathered arm will be a curse or a blessing to him.

Going going.  Florrie, a sixteen-year-old living in San Antonio, Texas, leads her friends and a new boyfriend in a campaign which supports small businesses and protests the effects of chain stores.

Skybreaker.  Matt Cruse, a student at the Airship Academy, and Kate de Vries, a young heiress, team up with a gypsy and a daring captain, to find a long-lost airship, rumored to carry a treasure beyond imagination.

A brief chapter in my impossible life.  Sixteen-year-old atheist Simone Turner-Bloom's life changes in unexpected ways when her parents convince her to make contact with her biological mother, an agnostic from a Jewish family who is losing her battle with cancer.

Christ the Lord : out of Egypt : a novel.  A seven-year old Jesus recounts his journey from Egypt to his birthplace in Nazareth, as the various aspects of his spiritual life are slowly revealed to him

The cure for crushes (and other deadly plagues).  Sixteen-year-old Haley Andromeda Harmony resumes her laptop diary in January of "the greatest year of my life," still reeling from having a boyfriend and discovering that her mother is a nun.  Sequal to Healing time of hickeys)

God went to beauty school.  A novel in poems that reveal God's discovery of the wonders and pains in the world he has created.

Touching darkness (Midnighters, book 2).  As they continue to battle evil creatures living in an hour hidden at midnight, Jessica and her new friends learn about Bixby, Oklahoma's shadowy past and uncover a deadly conspiracy that reaches beyond the secret hour.
Pretties.  Tally's perfect life as a Pretty is disrupted when she receives a letter from herself, written when she was an Ugly, reminding her of the promise she made to take a drug developed to cure the brain lesions that keep the Pretties shallow and happy--and when she takes the pills, she becomes a target of those determined to keep Pretty society carefree.

Heart on my sleeve.  From the end of high school to the beginning of college, Chloe and Julian deal with major changes in their families and friendships and explore their feelings for each other through emails, letters, and a visit.

What I call life.  Placed in a group foster home, eleven-year-old Cal Lavender learns how to cope with life from the four other girls who live there and from their storytelling guardian, the Knitting Lady.
Zusak, Markus.
The book thief.  Trying to make sense of the horrors of World War II, Death relates the story of Liesel--a young German girl whose book-stealing and story-telling talents help sustain her family and the Jewish man they are hiding, as well as their neighbors.

This video based lesson is designed to answer thee important questions and to provide teachers of history and economics a flexible format in which to introduce the Federal Reserve System. The video combines news footage and interviews with Fed officials to illustrate how the Fed functions in the real world. The accompanying lesson plan addresses the voluntary national content standards in economics and explains concepts such as "liquidity," "monetary policy tools," and the "payment system."
