Integrating technology into the daily instruction of our students is a primary goal for USD 320. Continuing professional development for teachers includes Intel Teach to the Future training and an annual technology training day for all certified staff.
The school district is served by an all fiber WAN and a fiber backbone and CAT5/ CAT6 LAN in all schools. Every teacher has his or her own personal computer for business use at his or her desk. All schools have at least one computer lab, with the two secondary schools having multiple student labs. Internet access is available district-wide.
Each year the district adds more technology tools for teachers including:
- overhead or mobile LCD projectors;
- mobile computer labs;
- graphing calculators; and
- cable television in classrooms.
Each library media center is designed to serve the research and check-out needs of our students and faculty.
